Not a bad ‘little’ chair. A couple of things to mention: 1) The XL, presumably as the rest of the lineup, has its center support post located somewhat off center— making occasionally sitting on the seat edge ‘perilous’ in that the ability to slip and fall out of the chair is somewhat increased. Not a big deal though, just something to be aware of. And 2), As a big guy, I expected the seat to be a little wider than it is. Again, not a deal breaker. Just not as wide as you would think when you hear ‘XL’. The back is great though— nice and tall. And the two additional cushions are just for neck and lower back placement. Overall, the chair is comfortable, in both upright and recline positions. If these minor concerns don’t bother you, this chair may be for you too.
This is one of the most comfortable gaming chairs I’ve had the pleasure of owning. It’s spacious and comfortable. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve fallen asleep on this thing. It’s sturdy and made from quality material. I highly recommend.
I really love this chair. The only reason I’m only giving a 4 star review is because as a bigger person I wish the seat was a little wider so that I wouldn’t sit on the higher tougher edges. Overall I truly love this chair. Thanks for such a great product.
Here is my review of the chair so far. I purchased the "TSXL3 Grey GamerXL Series Gaming Chair" It was delivered 9/24/2021
It was simple to put together with some mechanical knowledge. One can use a different driver on a ratchet to help speed twisting the fasteners in. All fasteners come pre-gooped with a loc-tite blue-looking substance.
You can use the box/packaging like a second person to aid in the assembly of the chair. The packaging is nice and comprehensive, but even with that, my chair had a chip near the center post hole of the spider leg assembly where the coating has been completely removed. This is only cosmetic and does not affect operation, but is not a good first impression of a $350 chair.
I'm very pleased with the sturdiness of the chair so far. I got the XXL version as I am 6'3" (193cm) tall and weigh about 255lbs (115 kilos) and, quite frankly, this is a big chair. It has ample butt space and even sitting with my legs lightly spread, it's a lot of real estate. It's firm and quite comfortable to sit in for long periods. I have a boney rear and haven't had a single pressure point bother me. The material seems decent and resilient, but I do find myself covering the seat in a jersey material pillow case to keep it nice.
The best part of the chair (so far) is the configuration ability. I have a strange desk setup and often transition from full upright position to a lounging position. Because the chair is so adjustable, I am able to achieve a balance position in the rocking mechanism that is very enjoyable. I like the ability of the arms to rotate, but I find that they rotate too easily when rising up from the chair (and pushing with your arms.) The arm rests have turned on me suddenly and I have been startled. I will probably develop muscle memory in the future that negates this issue. I contacted support about the tension in the swivel mechanism and was advised that there is no adjustment to tighten their action.
At the 2 week mark, I have a couple of concerns though. The left arm is quite tight and had ZERO play in it. The right arm, however, is quite sloppy and rattles noisily from side to side. I removed the arms from my old chair for this very same reason and to find the same thing in a premium priced chair is kind of disappointing. I haven't contacted customer service about this issue yet, but I will update the review if I do.
My wife bought me this as a birthday gift and it's not really a purchase I would have made for myself at this price. I'm more of a hand-me-down kind of guy. Now that I have it, I am pretty happy that I do have it. It is expensive - yes, it is. Is it worth it - time will tell. Should you buy it - if your budget allows, you will probably not regret the choice.
