Good. It wasn’t reversible
I love the desk. It's just the right size for my setup. I "downgraded" from a huge wooden L desk with a hutch. I was too cramped and needed to let some air and light in my space. This desk fits the bill perfectly. It is incredibly sturdy. It has barely any wobble even on my plush carpet. The 'carbon fiber' pattern on the desk top is very cool looking and the steel frame is solid as a rock. The welds are not the greatest, but I'm nit picking there. It's a very attractive and versatile desk to say the least. I also dig the headphone holder and the cup holders, although I only use one of the two provided.
Now the but.
The desk did come with slight damage to the long piece desk top. It is on the back corner and not visible to me, but the desk was indeed damaged upon delivery. Who to blame? Manufacturer? Shipper? It doesn't matter to me. As a consumer I received a broken product. Fortunately, it wasn't broken so much that I was prepared to wait to build my brand new desk. I had already gotten rid of my old one. So, I stuck with it. No worries.
The carbon fiber looking surface is smooth and my arms glide nicely across it. However, the surface is not resistant to scratches. Just putting on the monitor stands proved that very quickly. Take your time when doing this. You will scratch the end of your desk putting these on. No way around it when using the included metal clamps. Also, just maneuvering around a brand new set up, a scratch here and there happens. Minor, but annoying.
No more buts. That's it. The desk is great. If you need/want more room, this is a great desk to go with.
I will provide pictures if possible, but this form isn't allowing me to do so.
I won't need a new desk for a while! It's been great and i have so much room for my work and projects! Totes worth every penny!
